Description

Transgenic construct used to study the Fab-7 insulator. Consists of the y wing enhancer, an FRT cassette containing the w eye enhancer, the y body enhancer, a Fab-7 insulator, the y transcription unit, the w coding region and a loxP cassette containing the w gene insulator (normally found just downstream of the w coding region).
