Description

Transgenic construct used to study the Fab-7 insulator. Consists of the y wing enhancer, an FRT cassette containing the w eye enhancer, the y body enhancer, a Fab-7 insulator, the y transcription unit, a loxP cassette containing the Fab-7 insulator (in the opposite orientation to the distal Fab-7 insulator) and the w gene.
