Description

Transgenic construct used to study the role of ovo proteins during the process of site-specific integration by gypsy elements. Contains a genomic copy of y (containing all the coding and regulatory regions) with a 314bp synthetic fragment (containing eight ovo bonding sites flanked by random DNA sequences) inserted at nucleotide 1980, between the wing blade and body enhancers and the promoter.
