Description

A fragment from the drm genomic region of ~1.7kb, upstream of a basal promoter and sequence encoding a lacZ reporter. It contains the only predicted ftz-f1 protein binding site located upstream of the transcription start site, at ~-1.9kb, and is flanked by five potential ftz protein binding sites. It is extended by ~700bp compared to P{drm-lacZ.1} to contain five 7mer sequences located 3' to the end of the sequence in P{drm-lacZ.1}.
