Description and Uses
Description

Transgenic construct used to study interactions between insulators and promoters. Consists of 10 UAS sites, an FRT cassette containing the Abd-B Fab-7 insulator in the forward orientation, the y coding region, a loxP cassette containing 83bp from the end of the promoter targeting sequences (Abd-B-PTS) and 337bp from the 5' end of Fab-8 (including both CTCF sites) (nucleotides 64038-64374) in the reverse orientation and the mini-w gene.
