Description

Transgenic construct used in an enhancer blocking assay. Contains a y reporter that includes the upstream y wing and body enhancers plus the y transcription unit (which contains the downstream bristle enhancer). An FRT cassette containing the 'CP1902' insulator protein binding site is present between the upstream enhancers and the y transcription start site.
