Description

Transgenic construct used to study long-range enhancer-promoter interactions in vivo. Contains divergently transcribed w and lacZ reporters. A 228 bp H1 enhancer from the h locus has been inserted in between the two reporters. Sequence encoding a gypsy\su(Hw)BR insulator fragment, a 625bp fragment of the promoter targeting sequence (PTS) from the Abd-B locus and an NEE enhancer fragment from the rho locus is inserted downstream of the lacZ coding sequence.
