Description and Uses
Description

Transgenic construct used to study long-range enhancer-promoter interactions in vivo. Contains divergently transcribed w and lacZ reporters. A H1 enhancer from the h locus has been inserted in between the two reporters. A 1.6 kb spacer sequence followed by an NEE enhancer fragment from the rho locus is inserted downstream of the lacZ coding sequence.
