Description

A ~2.2kb fragment of the ftz upstream region (which contains the neurogenic element), followed by the ftz basal promoter and 5'UTR drives expression of a mutated ftz coding sequence in which the N-terminal arm of the ftz homeodomain has been replaced with the equivalent sequence from Antp. This is fused to the ftz 3'UTR, and 200bp from downstream of the polyA signal.
