An hsp70 promoter fused with an 828bp genomic fragment containing the IAB7b enhancer sub-region (from upstream of the Abd-B gene), where the sub region containing two ftz and two Kr binding sites (2F2K) is disrupted, is placed upstream of lacZ coding sequences.
