Description

The muscle heart enhancer (MHE) from the eve locus is fused upstream of EGFP. The MHE sequence carries mutations in putative ETS binding sites 2 and 3, and a ninth ETS binding site has been introduced adjacent to and overlapping site 8, to create a new anti-parallel pair.
