Description

The muscle heart enhancer (MHE) from the eve locus is fused upstream of EGFP. The MHE sequence carries mutations in putative ETS binding sites 2 and 3. In addition, a ninth ETS binding site has been introduced adjacent to site 8 (the two sites are in anti-parallel configuration), with a short spacer between the sites.
