Description

UASt regulates expression of a mutant Hsap\ALK cDNA in which the non-polar cysteine at position 1097 is changed to the basic side chain alanine. This is predicted to alter hydrogen bonding between this residue and Y1278, which is mutated in patients with neuroblastoma.
