Description

A 3kb genomic fragment containing the entire Smn coding region, in which the coding sequence has been mutated to carry a Y208C amino acid substitution (equivalent to the Y277C change found in the SMN1 gene in a patient with spinal muscular atrophy). The coding sequence is tagged at the N-terminal end with three copies of Tag:FLAG.
