Three copies of the GMR regulatory sequence drive expression of a transcription unit that encodes a Tag:HA-tagged GAL4(DBD)::PHYB hemidriver (represented in FlyBase by Scer\GAL4DBD.Photo.GMR), a T2A peptide and a Tag:V5-tagged VP16(AD)::PIF6 hemidriver (represented in FlyBase by Hsim\VP16AD.Photo.GMR). The T2A peptide results in the two hemidrivers being produced as separate, individual proteins during translation.
