Description

UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of 'Green2/3', a green-fluorescent protein that targets the 1.686 satellite (found in two blocks in the pericentromeric heterochromatin of chromosomes 2 and 3). Green2/3 is a fusion protein composed of a synthetic DNA-binding domain (20 TALE repeats) that specifically binds the 1.686 satellite sequence, fused to the EGFP fluorescent protein.
