Description

UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a dpp cDNA (including the 5'UTR and signal peptide) that is tagged after the furin cleavage site with EGFP. A stop codon has been introduced at the C-terminal end of the EGFP coding sequence, so that the expressed protein does not contain the mature dpp peptide sequences present downstream of the EGFP tag.
