Description

A slp1 distal early stripe element (DESE) enhancer fragment from -8710 to -7136bp, in which one of the five run protein-binding sites (site 5) has been mutated, plus basal slp1 promoter sequences from -72 to +57bp are fused upstream of lacZ (all slp1 coordinates relative to the slp1 transcription start site).
