UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of the orion B isoform, tagged at the C-terminal end with Rnor\Cd2 sequence that includes the transmembrane domain, mIFP and the Kir2.1 ER exit signal. This results in the orion B isoform sequence being tethered to the plasma membrane with an extracellular localization.
