An 8kb osk rescue fragment in which a mutation has been introduced into the proximal stem of the spliced oskar localization element (SOLE) together with a second compensatory mutation that would restore proximal stem base-pairing. The coding sequence is tagged at the C-terminal end with sfGFP.
