Description

UASp sequences regulate expression of the SMC3 open reading frame (from the RE14758 cDNA clone), in which two conserved Lys residues required for cohesion establishment during S phase have been mutated (amino acid replacements K105R and K106R). The coding sequence is tagged at the C-terminal end with 12xTag:HA. Silent mutations have been introduced into the sequence to render the mRNA resistant to RNAi mediated by P{TRiP.HMS00318}.
