UASt regulatory sequences are fused upstream of sequence that encodes EGFP and contains an intron. Sequence encoding 106 repeats of GGGGCC into which stop codons have been regularly interspersed (to produce an "RNA-only" construct) has been inserted into the intron within the EGFP coding sequence, in sense orientation.
