Description

Genomic fragment containing RNaseZ expressed under the control of its own promoter. The first Met residue has been mutated to Leu, forcing translation to start exclusively from the second initiation codon. The protein is tagged at the C-terminal end with Tag:V5. A single nucleotide mutation has been introduced into each of the three PAM sites targeted by RNaseZU6.3xsgRNA within the P{RNaseZ.ΔMTS.V5} transgene, so that it is resistant to CRISPR/Cas9 targeting using RNaseZU6.3xsgRNA.
