            Due to an oversight in the implementation of gene annotation merges, the symbols for this transcript and its associated polypeptide were changed to non-unique designations in r5.10. Although there were no conflicts within a given release, the same symbols were used for different isoforms in different releases. Prior to r5.10 the transcript symbol was Ca-beta-RA; from r5.10 to r5.12, it was Ca-beta-RB; in r5.13 it was changed to Ca-beta-RE, a symbol that has not been used previously in the database.
