General Information
Term mass spectrometry studies of subunit exchange ID (Ontology) MI:1238 (Molecular Interactions)
Definition Heavy/light isotope-labelled subunits are prepared and allowed to form their respective mature oligomeric structure. Oligomers are then mixed and subunit exchange is monitored, usually by electrospray ionisation-ion mobility spectrometry-mass spectrometry.[ PubMed:20351246 ]
