Flies expressing Parp^I.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^arm.PS have rough eyes and defects in the abdominal cuticle. Flies expressing Parp^I.Scer\UAS under the control of two copies of Scer\GAL4^arm.PS arrest at the pupal stage.

Comments

Parp^CH1 animals expressing Parp^I.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^arm.PS die as third instar larvae, but develop significantly further than Parp^CH1 animals. Partial rescue of nuclear morphology is seen in Parp^CH1 animals expressing Parp^I.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^arm.PS; a nucleolus can be seen in some, but not all, nuclei.
