      RNAi knockdown of Ir25a expression in Ir64a neurons through expression of Ir25aGD891 under the control of Scer\GAL4Ir64a.PA has no effect on DC4 or DP1m glomerular response to odourants.

      Expression of Ir25aGD891 under the control of Scer\GAL4Ir64a.PA does not affect acid avoidance response.

      Adults expressing Ir25aGD891 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
