UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
wing | posterior, with Scer\GAL4en-e16E
Expression of pathKK104735 under the control of Scer\GAL4path-c135 leads to a change in the relative position of two carpet glia cells (become apically to basally positioned); a coverage of the entire eye disc by only one carpet glia cell; and a breakage in the posterior center of the eye disc between the two carpet cells while the glia cell migratory pace is maintained in the eye disc of third instar larvae when compared to controls.
Scer\GAL4en-e16E-mediated expression results in a modest reduction in size of the posterior compartment of the adult wing.
