      Flies expressing nmoKK107867 under the control of Scer\GAL4tim.Scer\UAS manifest significantly shorter periods than do parental controls. nmoKK107867-expression results in free running periods of approximately 21-22 hours.

      Expression of nmoKK107867 under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf or Scer\GAL4tim.PU (constitutively or in combination with tub-Gal80[ts] to restrict expression to the adult stage) leads to shorter circadian period of locomotor activity rhythms under constant darkness compared to control adults.
