The 1.94kb EcoR1-Sca1 and the 1.04kb Spe1(filled in)-EcoR1 fragments of the 1A pbl cDNA are expressed under the control of UASt sequences. Amino acids 497-549, at the C terminal of the DH domain, are removed.
