Affected Genes Inferred by Location (0)
If no genes are listed here, it may be because the affected region is very large. The JBrowse insert above may show an error for the same reason, and other FlyBase tools such as CytoSearch may also fail for large regions. You can contact FlyBase for more help.
In these cases, there will be no "Export to Hitlist" button to the left.
    Phenotypic Data
    In combination with other aberrations

In(2R)Adv is lethal in combination with In(2R)vgW.

    Inferred to overlap with: In(2R)vgW.

    Other Comments

While complementation data indicate that the recessive lethality of In(2R)Adv is due to disruption of en, en expression appears normal in heterozygotes, suggesting that the dominant "additional vein" phenotype of this inversion is not due to its effects on en. Note - in situ hybridisation of polytene chromosomes with en cDNA also supports disruption of en by one of the breakpoints.
