    Homozygous lethal. The homozygous lethality of the Df(2R)eyc-l20 chromosome is rescued by expression of CG42383UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PB (in the absence of heat shock), suggesting that the lethality may be due to an effect on CG42383. The rescued flies hold their wings at an abnormal, droopy angle and are less active than wild type.
