[72E1-72E1];[72E4-72E4];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
72E1;72E4
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
Inferred to overlap with: Df(3L)ED220.
Inferred to overlap with: Df(3L)BSC555.
The presence of P+PBac{XP5.RB3}BSC649 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003 with the substitution of the primer 5'-GCTTCTAAACGCTTACGCATAAACGATG-3' for the RB3' plus or RB3' minus primer in the Hybrid PCR protocol in FBrf0174229.
The cytological breakpoints of Df(3L)BSC649 predicted from the Release 5 genomic coordinates of the progenitor PBac{RB}e03222 and P{XP}roqd08799 insertion sites are 72E1;72E4.
