Sequence between the two FRT sites present in TI{TI}E(spl)m8-HLHV5.FRT has been deleted using FLP recombinase, resulting in a deletion that removes both the E(spl)m7-HLH and E(spl)m8-HLH genes. A single FRT site followed by a loxP cassette containing a Disc\RFP3xP3.cUa marker is present downstream of the deletion.
