Deletion of the intergenic LAE ("leg and antennal enhancer") that is located in between the tandem paralogous bab1 and bab2 genes (and which is involved in the regulation of both of genes). The sequence "AGAGA" is inserted at the deletion site.
If no genes are listed here, it may be because the affected region is very large.
The JBrowse insert above may show an error for the same reason,
and other FlyBase tools such as CytoSearch may also fail for large regions.
