Homozygous βTub85DDrv2 stage 13 embryos display salivary gland migration defects.
The testes of homozygous males are characterised by complete lack of microtubule-dependent function in the postmitotic germ cells; no evidence of meiotic spindle activity, the spermatid nuclei remain 4N and the spermatid head remains unshaped; spermatids fail to elongate.
