Flies have abnormal shaped wings, with a slightly paler membrane which is frequently curved either convexly or concavely. Eyes are rough and slightly altered in shape. Macrochaetae are thinner than normal and straggly and the orbital bristles are often reduced or absent. Male genitalia are frequently slightly twisted and abnormal.
