dpolM/dpunspecified flies have short, truncated wings, but no vortices on the thorax. Lethal in combination with dpolv. Near-lethal in combination with dplvI, the sole escaper having vortices, rumpled hair on the thorax and spread, shortened wings. The escaper was very weak and soon died.
Oblique wing phenotype (o). Also displays dominant suppression of variegation presumably owing to effect on Su(var)2-3. Similar to dpol but has occasional slight vortex effect and good comma effect in compound with dpov1. RK2.
