      (Bonnier and Norenskiold, 1943)

      E(B) heterozygous with any B allele, including B+, produces flies similar in phenotype to homozygotes for that allele. B +/+ E(B) eyes have 80-90 facets, but B E(B)/++ eyes have only 40. Homozygous lethal. RK2(A). Reduces B-fu crossing over about 40%.
