Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

fwdneo1/Df(3L)7C adults show decreased climbing activity.

99.8% of spermatids in the testes of fwdneo1/Df(3L)7C males are defective, being derived from one or more defective meiotic and/or mitotic divisions. Spermatids with 4 nuclei per mitochondrial derivative are often seen, and spermatids with 2 or 8 nuclei per mitochondrial derivative are also sometimes seen.

Failure of cytokinesis after meiosis I and meiosis II in males, usually resulting in onion stage early spermatids with four equal sized nuclei associated with a single, large mitochondrial derivative. Cells in meiosis II contain two spindles. female-fertile
