      Transheterozygous combinations of l(1)17Ab17516 with l(1)17Aa12748 and l(1)16Fc459 are lethal in a tta background.

      Gynandromorph analysis demonstrates the mutation is lethal. Surviving adults display short, disoriented and fewer bristles and plexated veins. Shaking activity is noticeable. Germline clonal analysis demonstrates the resulting embryos fail to develop.
