      FlyBase curator comment: The sequence accession record G01316 includes the description 'fruit fly STS Dm2137 clone l(2)k14423' however the sequence stated in G01316 BLASTs to the heix gene, not l(2)35Df which has been shown genetically to correspond to 'l(2)k14423'. It is likely that there has been a tracking error confusing 'k14423' (allele of/insertion in l(2)35Df) with 'k11403' (allele of/insertion in heix). The G01316 sequence accession number has thus been removed from the P{lacW}l(2)35Dfk14423 report.
