      Enzyme extracted from MennNC1 homozygotes kinetically indistinguishable from wild-type enzyme; Williamson accordingly proposes that MennNC1 is a cis-acting regulatory mutant. no heterodimer with electrophoretically variant polypeptides. 3-5% normal activity.
