Detailed Description

Reference

The first and second tarsal joints are fused and swollen and have an excess of hairs. In males, the sex combs are enlarged (sex combs are only present on the first pair of legs). There is no effect on the aristae, wings or spines. The phenotype is fully penetrant when balanced with CyO, however in Metatarsi-irregular1/ss1 flies there is no or only a slight Metatarsi-irregular phenotype.
