Description

Amino acid replacement: Y82E.

In addition to the T244G substitution which results in the Y82E amino acid replacement, nucleotides 246--350 are deleted, resulting in a deletion of amino acid residues T83 through P117.

Nucleotide substitution: T244G.

Comment:

One of two reported lesions in Scr15. A deletion of amino acid residues T83-P117, nucleotides 246-350 (where +1 is the first base of the ATG start codon)

Nucleotide change:

T6841937G

Reported nucleotide change:

T244G

Amino acid change:

Y82D | Scr-PA; Y82D | Scr-PB; Y82D | Scr-PD; Y82D | Scr-PE; Y82D | Scr-PF

Reported amino acid change:

Y82E

Comment:

One of two reported lesions in Scr15 mutant. The second change is a 105 bp deletion, which leads to a substitution of the third base of the Y82 codon, thus the reported Y82E amino acid change.

Heterozygous and Scr15/Df(3R)WIN3 males have a reduction in the number of sex comb bristles on the prothoracic leg compared to wild-type males.

Scr15/Df(3R)WIN3 flies have a reduced number of rows of pseudotrachea on the proboscis compared to controls.

Scr15/Df(3R)WIN3 larvae have a reduced number of nuclei in the salivary gland compared to controls.

Prothoracic to mesothoracic, pronotal to mesonotal and labial to maxillary transformations. Polyphasic semi-lethality.
