Amino acid replacement: Y82E.

In addition to the T244G substitution which results in the Y82E amino acid replacement, nucleotides 246--350 are deleted, resulting in a deletion of amino acid residues T83 through P117.

      Heterozygous and Scr15/Df(3R)WIN3 males have a reduction in the number of sex comb bristles on the prothoracic leg compared to wild-type males.

      Scr15/Df(3R)WIN3 flies have a reduced number of rows of pseudotrachea on the proboscis compared to controls.

      Scr15/Df(3R)WIN3 larvae have a reduced number of nuclei in the salivary gland compared to controls.
