      Eye colour: w5a males resemble wsp1 flies with respect to eye colour. Eye colour: wsp1/w5a females resemble wa females with respect to eye colour at eclosion. The eye colour darkens with age.

      Eye colour: yellow-orange to orange brown at eclosion, when heterozygous with wsp1; only mottled on day 1.
