Eye colour: wsp1/w9A1 flies resemble wsp1/wsp1 flies with respect to mottling and colour of the eyes at eclosion. The eye colour darkens with age.

Eye colour: yellow-orange to orange brown at eclosion, when heterozygous with wsp1; only mottled on day 1.
