Description

Insertion probably lies within the 5' transcribed but non-translated leader. Insertion has no 8bp target site duplication but is flanked by a 5bp deletion corresponding to nucleotides +15 to +20. The P-element 31bp inverted terminal repeats are conserved.

1.2kb insertion within a 197bp fragment located between a BamHI site at coordinate 3.0 and a BalI site 197bp to its left (coordinates relative to molecular map in this reference).
