EcR06410 fully complements several EcR null alleles (including EcRM554fs, EcRV559fs and EcR31); transheterozygotes, as well as EcR06410 over a deficiency removing EcR are viable and fertile. This indicates that the individualization defects seen in flies carrying the EcR06410 chromosome are due to mutations in genes other than EcR.
