      Heat-induced expression during larval or pupal development can generate ectopic microchaetae in the scutellum, wing blades and head capsule. Extra microchaetae were unclustered.

      B-H2hs.PH can functionally replace B-H1hs.PK.

      (Kojima et al., 1993)

      Overexpression of B-H2 causes almost complete conversion of trichoid to campaniform-like sensilla, this does not require endogenous B-H2.
